I’ve learned that more often than not, if I’m going over her lap I did something to really deserve it and if I resist or fuss it will be worse. I prefer to be dealt with, end the matter and not repeat the infraction or poor behavior than trying to make it up to her or endless arguing and attitude.
I have to say that though I didn’t agree with it at first and hate not sitting comfortably at times but this has truly improved my attitude and our marriage.
