From The Sudbury Star online edition (November 10, 2008), we read about a Canadian kink conference and suggested places to acquire implements. Many of us have known about tack shops and discount stores, and they are a wonderland for spankos. It’s also nice to see spanking related content in BDSM conferences where spanking is often relegated to second class status behind more s&m styled play.

If you are into spanking, whether it’s on the giving or receiving end, discount stores are a fantastic place to shop, according to a guest speaker at the first Northern Ontario Conference of Kink (NOCK) held in Greater Sudbury Saturday.

“Dollar stores are a dom’s (dominant’s) best friend,” said “Sir Scott,” holding up more than half a dozen wooden spoons and stir sticks, during the workshop on “Percussion Play” or spanking. ” …
