Some time back, Spankoz Australia published material on Jokari paddles including the following picture. Many spanking enthusiasts love Jokari paddles for the fun they bring when used for our favorite pastime. An interesting aspect of Spankoz’ page is their link to Weehawk 95, a site that celebrates the legitimate use and growth of Jokari from its Basque origins to current time. Many pictures of Jokari sets are included. I have most often seen the paddle that is second from the right below, and can attest it is a sturdy implement of multi-plied wood. Now, how many of you have actually “played Jokari?”

A girl who lived down the street from me in the mid 70s had a set and we played sometimes. I was about 13 at the time. She was a few years older than me so I never swated her, but it sure wasn’t for lack of thinking about it.
What are the rules? Is bratting allowed? What about body-checking?
