S&M and spanking
Discussions on where spanking fits into the S&M lifestyle have been around since the beginning of spanking. DN: Spanking is often thought of as a part of SM. How do you differentiate between an SM story and a spanking story?
SR: In a generalization that a lot of people will object to, I think spankers give spankings as the fetishized event. Part of the nature of that event is that it should hurt but spankers are not interested primarily in hurting or being hurt and SMers are.

Good to hear CF still going strong. I remember my joy in finding them back around 1988, in pre-Internet days. Prior to that it was poring thru adult magazines for spanking stuff, like Penthouse Letters, and the old MR. Magazine.
People with our interest have never had it so good.
Kind of got the impression the lady doing the interview was a bit freaked out, the questions she kept asking about spanking being violent.Obviously she was not too knowledgeable about the scene, felt like she thought spanking abuse on some level.
