This is wrong, absolutely wrong …
… for may reasons. All Things Spanking does not condone the spanking of children, and we are especially affronted by this senseless act. Our sole purpose in posting this article is human interest. From the Washington Post:
Aunt’s Whipping of Boy in Class Investigated
Prince George’s County public schools officials are investigating an incident in which the aunt of a second-grader at a county charter school ordered him to remove his pants and underwear and whipped him in front of his teacher and classmates Friday. …
Hat tip to Gloria Brame for pointing us in this direction.
Enema administration …
… coupled with a good spanking is supposed to be a unique experience, or so I’m told. Have any of you had the honor? Do tell.

The Book
Here’s a fictitious spanking tome that first appeared on The Collar Purple several years ago. While The Collar Purple is not currently publishing, The Boss’ and Invidia’s prior posts remain online. It’s wonderful material that deserves a relook from time to time.

Paige Tyler’s Stories
Paige Tyler is an author of romantic spanking stories. Her work can be seen at her website, and is available for preview and purchase there. Paige writes about herself that:
“I’m a complete romantic that has always appreciated a well-warmed bottom myself, it makes complete sense that I found myself writing romantic spanking stories. I published my first novella about three years ago with Bethany and have been going strong ever since.
Since then, I have published 20 stories with Bethany, mostly as Paige Tyler, but also as Samantha Danvers and Madison Kincaide, and I still get giddy every time I see another one of my novellas online.”
Paige is currently conducting a reader survey with the goals of devoting a page to reader’s comments, and to learning more about what readers think of her novellas! I encourage you to take a look at Paige’s work (if you haven’t alrerady), and to respond to the survey. Romance and spanking … does it get any better?
Simple Rules
It is pretty clear that one of the basic tenets of any effective relationship is mutual respect. Not the only tenet, but certainly a key one. In the BDSM world (to include spanking), regardless of the level or nature of submission, Tops and bottoms must respect each other. I cannot submit my body and being to someone whom I neither respect nor am respected by them. Similarly, I must respect someone to top them. Without respect, the act is a meaningless charade. You may be into humiliation, but the element of respect must still be present to assure that emotional/psychological harm is not effected.
Mistress Matisse addressed very similar thoughts in today’s column on her site. The entire column is well worth a read. The following was excerpted.
… But it reminded me of a fundamental truth: some rules are the same for everyone. Whips hurt, whether you’re the top or the bottom. Emotional wounds hurt, too, no matter who you are. You can be a Gorean master, or a smart-ass masochist, or an old-school Mistress. But all those roles, and those aspects of who we are, mean nothing when it comes to basic ethics and integrity. The rules are the same there. Being kinky never exempts you from that. …
A new blog
James Stephenson’s Spanking Blog has recently launched, and shows a lot of promise based on the first several postings. To quote the bio portion of the blog:
[James has] had a lifelong fascination with spanking and associated activities. That has manifested itself in many different ways over the years including theoretical research, practical exprimentation, story writing, and the odd huffed girlfriend rubbing a tingling posterior. I’m going to start writing about some of those events and my thoughts on them now in reflection.
